Each year we celebrate the anniversary of our Brooklyn shop opening by partnering with one of our favorite makers to craft something totally new. The Heatonist team looks at what's happening in the bigger culinary world to seek inspiration for a hot sauce that has never been tried before. This year we take a traditional sauce, piri piri, and pull it in a new direction by pairing it with the savory umami flavors of Lion's Mane mushroom. The result is a super flavorful hot sauce at once boldly unique and satisfyingly familiar. Try it on grilled chicken, pizza, a sandwich, anything!
