Deciding between The Last Dab Trio Pack and single bottles? We compare value, variety, and heat to help you choose the right Hot Ones sauce bundle.
Quick answer
For collectors and heat seekers who want to try every version of Pepper X, The Last Dab Trio Pack delivers unmatched variety and savings. If you only need one bottle for occasional use or gifting, a single bottle is more practical.
Why the trio makes sense for serious fans
The Last Dab Trio Pack bundles three distinct sauces: XXX (three Pepper X color variations), Apollo (Smokin' Ed's newest pepper), and a third version. That's three different heat experiences in one purchase, something single bottles can't offer.
At a catalog comparison price of $64.00 versus the trio's $41.60, you're getting roughly 35% off the combined single-bottle cost. The savings are real if you plan to buy multiple bottles anyway.
When a single bottle wins
If you're new to extreme heat or just want to refill a favorite, a single bottle avoids committing to three sauces you might not finish. The trio's value only works if you actually enjoy each variant.
Single bottles also make simpler gifts—one bottle, one flavor, no confusion about which is which.
Trade-offs at a glance
- Value: The trio costs $41.60 (catalog value $64.00), saving about $22.40 versus buying three single bottles separately.
- Variety: The trio gives you three distinct sauces; a single bottle gives you one. If you want to explore different Pepper X expressions, the trio is the only way.
- Commitment: Single bottles let you test the heat without committing to two extra sauces you might not finish. The trio is better for confirmed heat enthusiasts. If you're unsure about extreme heat, start with a single bottle before investing in the trio.
